As the sun begins to shine a little longer each day, the staff at Shirk's Piano & Organ looks forward to musical events such as the Stickley Memorial Piano Competition. The purpose of this 15th Annual competition is to honor the memory of Elnora Hartman Stickley and to reward talented pianists in the Michiana Area. The competition is sponsored by the South Bend Area Music Teachers Association.
Deadline for submission to participate in the competition has passed. Auditions are scheduled for Friday and Saturday March 5th and 6th at the Colfax Auditorium in the Main Branch of the St. Joseph County Public Library in South Bend, Indiana.
The Winners Recital will take place on Sunday March 14th, 2010 in the Annenberg Auditorium of the Snite Museum at the University of Notre Dame.
Shirk's Piano & Organ is happy to provide the pianos for the Stickley Memorial Piano Competition.
